Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A (often just called 30A) is arguably one of the most beautiful roads in the country, featuring crystal-blue waters and sugar-sand beaches, as well as dune lakes and quaint beach communities that are just steps away. But the views aren’t the only attraction; the flavors you’ll find at the restaurants on 30A are exquisite.
I just got back from a week in Florida, and this time I visited some of my favorite restaurants on 30A and ventured out to try a few new ones too. Today I want to share some of my personal recommendations.

Scratch Biscuit Kitchen: Start Your Day Off Right!
Scratch was my first stop on my latest tour of the restaurants on 30A, and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit to start the day off right. It was buttery, fluffy, and flavor-packed.

If you love the fresh air that comes with coastal mornings, I’d recommend grabbing an outdoor table for your meal.
Stinky’s Fish Camp: A Can’t-Miss Classic
Despite the decidedly unappetizing name, Stinky’s is a must-visit if you love fried seafood. The smoked tomato tartar sauce alone makes the trip worth it! It’s right across from the public beach access, so if you want to take a break from driving and enjoy a walk on the beach, this is the place to do it.

Of all the places we visited on our trip, this was probably the most crowded. That’s not a surprise, as it’s easily one of the best-loved restaurants on 30A. I’d recommend going at an off-peak time unless you don’t mind a long wait.
Crust Artisan Bakery: Worth the Short Drive
Crust might not technically be one of the restaurants on 30A, but it’s just a 10-minute drive out of the way. It’s a great spot for authentic Italian cuisine (I got the chicken piccata, which was excellent), and if you’re looking to enjoy something sweet, it offers fantastic homemade desserts.

Grayton Seafood Company: A New Favorite
Everyone knows the best place to order seafood is right next to the sea, so I decided to give Grayton Seafood Company a shot.
I ordered the sheepshead special, and it was outstanding. Fresh, cooked to perfection, and memorable, it came with a generous side of green beans. I’ve now added Grayton to my list of favorite restaurants on 30A.

The Wine Bar on 30A: Elevated but Relaxed
Want to kick back and just enjoy the 30A atmosphere? This is the place to do it. The Wine Bar on 30A has a fantastic charcuterie board and an elegant but laid-back atmosphere. It also serves lunch and dinner.

The Great Southern Café: Consistently Excellent
Last but not least is The Great Southern Café, a longtime favorite with consistently great food and service. For my family, this restaurant is a reliable go-to for any visit! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. If you plan on dining during peak hours, be prepared to wait a bit.
